Wiz Khalifa’s Scottsdale Gig Coming This Weekend

Although the Pittsburgh Steelers are out of the Super Bowl, the “Black and Yellow” rapper from Pittsburgh, Wiz Khalifa has announced that he will be turning up for a performance at the Valley this coming weekend. The award-winning, multi-platinum artist is heading to Scottsdale for his performance on January 30 at Livewire. The tickets are available at livewire.com for $108, while the VIP tickets cost $217. A limitation of six tickets has been imposed on each customer.

Khalifa rose to fame with his triple-platinum hit single, titled “Black and Yellow”, which became #1 in “the Hot 100”. Some of his greatest hits include the triple-platinum soundtrack “Young, Wild & Free” featuring Snoop Dogg and Bruno Mars and the double-platinum hit “No Sleep”. In his musical career, Wiz Khalifa was honored as the best new artist in 2011 at BET Awards and as top new artist in 2012 at Billboard Music Awards.

As far as his future music plans are concerned, Khalifa has revealed that he will be collaborating with the rock band Fall Out Boy for the upcoming “The Boys of Zummer Tour 2015”. The collaborators will feature in the 39-date, two-month long tour, which will start from June 10. During the tour, Khalifa is expected to promote his studio album, called “Blacc Hollywood” that was launched in August. On the other hand, the band is getting ready for the launch of their next studio album, called “American Beauty/American Psycho” that came out on January 20 through Island Records.
