Will Young is the new a homophobia victim

Will Young, the gay British singer, has been a homophobia victim in London, at a time when the United Kingdom capital is lionizing gay pride (28th June). Earlier today, Will Young revealed on Twitter that has been aimed because he is gay.

On Twitter, the UK singer stated: ‘Would you believe on the day of Gay Pride I have been the victim of homophobia. I am SO mad. #pride2014,’

It appeared that the followers of the thirty five year old were really quick to back him up by supporting him and his views. One of his followers, Andy Hornby said: ‘some people just can't help themselves... Sad... Pathetic... Rise above it!’

Another named Hayz P tweeted: ‘I know it’s hard but don't let them drag you down, as that’s what they want. They must be sad inside, to want to be homophobic.’

In another tweet, Will Young told: ‘I shower love on the ignorant, hope for the bigots and light into the dark crevices if their unfortunate minds.’

Will Young hit the public spotlight when he won Pop Idol, the K talent show. Following his win 2002, he came out as gay in public.

Young’s experience is significantly touching because today London is celebrating LGBTI pride, with the #FreedmTo theme. In the UK capital, the roads are filled with around half a million people who are celebrating the LGBTI pride. Stars like McKellen have also braved the Brit weather to relish the day.
