Lily Allen not happy with record company battles

Lily Allen, the Brit pop singer, has endured frustrating and exhausting battles with her record label over her return in the music scene. Recently, The Smile star made it to the headlines when she agreed with a fan who termed her new tracks ‘docile pop rubbish’ and she damned bosses at her record firm for failing to advert her more dynamic work.

She has recently spoke up about all the difficulties she has with the executives of the label, claiming that she was furious at some of their decisions.

Speaking at the Vogue Festival panel discussion in London on Sunday, Allen told that she experience it at the moment reentering the music industry. What you have heard on the radio station so far, the contribution of her album is very much the more beige, saccharine elements to what she have made. She added that the reason for that is because the people in control of the radio stations, the people that are in control of the record companies, are more than scared to put themselves on the line in case someone gets offended.

She told that there are times when she fights with her bosses in order to keep her career direction in the right track. She believes that she is a part of a machine. She does not necessarily make the decisions she would make for her as an artist. She is owned by a multinational corporation.
